Post 3: Spring
Hello today I come to talk about the seasons of the year.
As you
know, there are four seasons of the year and they last approximately three
months each. These are due to the inclination of the axis of rotation of the
Earth with respect to its orbital plane with respect to the sun, which causes
different amounts of sunlight depending on the time of year in certain regions,
as well as the duration of the day. Thanks to these variations, we have periods
of marked climatic conditions, called summer, autumn, winter and spring that,
at the same time, cause different changes in nature that can be used by people.
Also this
explains that for a year there are 2 equinoxes (the same duration of day and
night), in autumn and spring, and 2 solstices in winter (the longer duration of the
night) and in summer (the longer duration of the day).
For agricultural cultures, mostly the American ones, they give similar meanings to
the seasons due to their relationship with the land cycle, starting with
winter, such as the rainy season; spring, like the time of buds; summer, like
the time of abundance; and autumn, as a time of rest.
Now for
me, the best season of the year corresponds to that of spring because it is
the time of the year when the energies of the earth sprout and I feel a clean
air after the rains, I see a calypso sky with very white clouds and the green on
the ground dotted with flowers of different colours make spring really the most
beautiful season for me.
