When I was
a child I dreamed of working at NASA. I wanted to be an astronaut because I watched
a lot History and National Geographic, and I had a telescope in my bedroom, I
could watch the Moon and Mars, nothing more. Over the years my dreams changed,
now I don’t want to be an astronaut, my interests went through the world of
mathematics and my dreams for becoming an engineer.
When I
finished the school I joined in Mechanical Engineering at the Usach, because I
wanted to work in mining since the machinery equipment area. But, although I
did well, this didn´t like me because the career is very absorbent and much
focused in mathematics, I was studying for being a computer and not person. In
this moment, I realize the interest that I had was for analyzing people and
their realities, and how I could help the people through the administrations
economy and politic.
This episode
in my life and others more personal helped me for changing the major and I decide
to study Public Administration.
Since I
joined in Public Administration at EGGP my experience is good, I feel happy
with my choice because I like the student life at EGGP and I met people with interests
similar to me.
