Post 4: Pets

During my life I have had the opportunity to take care of many animals, mainly because when I was a child I used to stay at a very large house with many animals, it was like a farm. I remember taking care of rabbits, ducks, catitas, turtles and many dogs. 

Even though I like animals I have a favourite one, which are dogs, I feel I have a special connection with them, maybe because it was my first pet; he arrived when I was 4 years old.

My first dog was called Lucas, because of Pato Lucas from Looney Tunes and because my brother loved ducks. His arrivance was very special, because my brother at age 3 had broken his leg and couldn´t move for long time, so my parents decided to bring Lucas to make those days happier for us, especially for my brother. That reason made Lucas special; all the close ones loved him. 

For me it was also a nice experience because the 3 us, my brother, Lucas and me, grew together. We played a lot.

But the years don´t pass in vain for anyone. The day after the 15th birthday of Lucas, he died in front of my family, it was one of the most painful moments for me of my live. 

After two years without a pet, Antü arrived, my current dog. He is very energetic and funny; he follows everywhere anda to every corner of the house. But now it is different, I have seen him grow, my mom says he´s like my son. I feel very responsible for him.
